Its my 29th birthday today so am having a day off plan and not point counting at all. I've been fine all day but we are going out for a family meal tonight and I will be having a few glasses of baileys too so I won't be counting points or it would be too scary but I do plan on getting back on plan tomorrow.
I went to weigh in yesterday and lost 2.5lb so I am pleased that I feel as though I am getting back on track. I just need to keep up the good work. I have 365 days to reach my goal of being able to wear a fantastic dress for my 30th and feel like a million dollars.
I'm sorry I have been so crap at updating lately. What with the move to England and all its been quite manic!! We have just moved into our house here after staying with my parents for 3 weeks which was driving me up the wall. Things should get easier from hereon in hopefully as I will be doing all the shopping and cleaning and there is so much more choice here of healthy food I like and it is cheaper than Cyprus so I have no excuses now lol.
I am determined that this time next year I will look and feel so much better. I have been feeling pretty down about it all lately but dh has been brilliant supporting me. He says he doesn't care cos he loves me the way I am but I know for a fact that my son age 9 is embarrassed by me. I feel awful about it. He says he wishes I was thin like other mums and I have promised him I will get there. He doesn't say it in a nasty way and you can tell it is killing him to say it. I know he is only saying what others probably think when they look at me though.
I haven't spent much time on weightwatchers online and I should really get back on there as the support off the forums are great and can really help if you have a bad day. I also want to thank everyone who reads this and comments on blogs as it really lifts you when you are having a bad day or week to know that you are not alone.
I am looking at changing our family's eating habits and make sure we always sit down at the dining table for dinner. We have all been doing more exercise since we moved back as we haven't got a car at the moment so are doing much more walking than what we did in Cyprus. I am thinking of joining the local gym after Christmas too which I used to enjoy going to before we moved away so hopefully I can tone up at the same time as losing weight and speed up the weightloss process too.
I will get back to blogging properly as I find it really seems to help me to focus and I will get back to blog reading too which I haven't had time to do lately.
